1 HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION
2 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
3 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE
4 SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that if the Department of
5 Corrections or Department of Human Services changes the types
6 of persons housed in any of its facilities, we urge the
7 Department of Corrections or Human Services, as the case may
8 be, to give written notice to the corporate authorities of
9 the municipality where the facility is located or to the
10 county board, if the facility is located in an unincorporated
11 area, and to the General Assembly of that change and to
12 conduct public hearings before making such change; and be it
13 further
14 RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this Resolution be
15 forwarded to the Director of Corrections and the Secretary of
16 Human Services.
