1 AN ACT in relation to gaming.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Bingo License and Tax Act is amended by
5 changing Section 4.2 as follows:
6 (230 ILCS 25/4.2) (from Ch. 120, par. 1104.2)
7 Sec. 4.2. Civil penalties. Any person or organization
8 which provides premises for the conduct of bingo without
9 first obtaining a license or a special provider's permit to
10 do so, or having a provider's license or a special provider's
11 permit allows unlicensed organizations to conduct bingo on
12 his premises, or allows any form of illegal gambling to be
13 conducted on the premises where bingo is being played shall,
14 in addition to other penalties provided, be subject to a
15 civil penalty of $5,000.
