91_HB4364eng HB4364 Engrossed BOB-Lott01 1 AN ACT making appropriations. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 ARTICLE 1 5 Section 1. The following named amounts, or so much 6 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects 7 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the 8 State Lottery Fund to meet the ordinary and contingent 9 expenses of the Department of the Lottery, including 10 operating expenses related to Multi-State Lottery games 11 pursuant to the Illinois Lottery Law: 12 OPERATIONS 13 Payable from State Lottery Fund: 14 For Personal Services ........................ $ 9,411,500 15 For Employees' Retirement Contributions 16 Paid by Employer ............................ 376,500 17 For State Contributions for the State 18 Employees' Retirement System ................ 941,100 19 For State Contributions to 20 Social Security ............................. 712,500 21 For Group Insurance .......................... 1,783,400 22 For Contractual Services ..................... 26,917,000 23 For Travel ................................... 131,200 24 For Commodities .............................. 74,000 25 For Printing.................................. 32,000 26 For Equipment ................................ 512,700 27 For Electronic Data Processing ............... 3,779,900 28 For Telecommunications Services .............. 9,791,200 29 For Operation of Auto Equipment .............. 275,600 30 For Expenses of Developing and 31 Promoting Lottery Games ..................... 12,100,000 HB4364 Engrossed -2- BOB-Lott01 1 For Refunds .................................. 50,000 2 Total $66,888,600 3 LOTTERY BOARD 4 Payable from State Lottery Fund: 5 For Personal Services - Per Diem 6 For Board Members ........................... $ 5,200 7 For State Contributions to State 8 Employees' Retirement System ................ 800 9 For State Contributions to 10 Social Security ............................. 600 11 For Contractual Services ..................... 500 12 For Travel ................................... 1,500 13 Total $8,600 14 Section 2. The sum of $290,000,000, or so much thereof 15 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the State Lottery 16 Fund to the Department of the Lottery, for payment of prizes 17 to holders of winning lottery tickets or shares, including 18 prizes related to Multi-State Lottery games, pursuant to the 19 provisions of the "Illinois Lottery Law". 20 Section 3. The sum of $35,000, or so much thereof as may 21 be necessary, is appropriated from the State Lottery Fund to 22 the Illinois Department of the Lottery, for payment to the 23 Illinois State Police for investigatory services. 24 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on 25 July 1, 2000.
