1 AN ACT to amend the Property Tax Code by changing Section
2 3-30.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing
6 Section 3-30 as follows:
7 (35 ILCS 200/3-30)
8 Sec. 3-30. Supervisor of assessments as clerk of the
9 board of review. Each supervisor of assessments shall serve
10 as clerk of the county board of review and shall be present
11 at all hearings held by the board. He or she shall receive
12 from the State, out of funds appropriated to the Department,
13 not less than $3,500 per year for this service. He or she
14 shall not receive additional compensation for that service.

16 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
17 becoming law.
