1 AN ACT to amend the Riverboat Gambling Act by adding
2 Section 13.2.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Riverboat Gambling Act is amended by
6 adding Section 13.2 as follows:
7 (230 ILCS 10/13.2 new)
8 Sec. 13.2. Supplemental tax on adjusted gross receipts.
9 Beginning January 1, 2000, a tax is imposed on the annual
10 adjusted gross receipts of an owners licensee in amount equal
11 to 80% of the adjusted gross receipts of the licensee, minus
12 the sum of all taxes paid by the licensee pursuant to
13 Sections 12 and 13. The tax imposed under this Section is in
14 addition to any other taxes imposed under this Act and shall
15 be deposited into the State Gaming Fund. The tax shall be
16 paid annually, on or before February 15th of each year.
