       (725 ILCS 5/106F-5 new)
Sec. 106F-5. Videotape of interrogations of suspects.
       (a) A peace officer who interrogates a person suspected
of committing an offense must videotape the interrogation and
must inform the suspect that the interrogation is being
   videotaped.
       (b) The videotape is admissible in court in a

contradicts any admission made to a peace officer.
       (c) The failure of a peace officer to videotape the

available to local law enforcement agencies, from
appropriations made to it, for the purpose of purchasing
