 1        AN  ACT  to  amend  the Illinois Vehicle Code by changing
 2    Section 5-104.3.

 3        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:

 5        Section  5.   The  Illinois  Vehicle  Code  is amended by
 6    changing Section 5-104.3 as follows:

 7        (625 ILCS 5/5-104.3)
 8        Sec. 5-104.3.  Disclosure of rebuilt vehicle.
 9        (a)  No person shall sell a vehicle for which  a  rebuilt
10    title has been issued unless that vehicle is accompanied by a
11    Disclosure  of  Rebuilt  Vehicle Status form, properly signed
12    and delivered to the buyer.
13        (b)  The Secretary of State may  by  rule  or  regulation
14    prescribe   the  format  and  information  contained  in  the
15    Disclosure of Rebuilt Vehicle Status form.
16        (c)  A violation of subsection (a) of this Section  is  a
17    Class  A  misdemeanor.  A  second  or subsequent violation of
18    subsection (a) of this Section is a Class 4 felony.

20        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  upon
21    becoming law.
