1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Public Aid Code by changing
2 Section 10-17.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by
6 changing Section 10-17 as follows:
7 (305 ILCS 5/10-17) (from Ch. 23, par. 10-17)
8 Sec. 10-17. Other Actions and Remedies for Support. The
9 procedures, actions and remedies provided in this Article are
10 shall in no way be exclusive, but are shall be available in
11 addition to other actions and remedies of support, including,
12 but not by way of limitation, the remedies provided in (a)
13 the "Paternity Act", approved July 5, 1957, as amended; (b)
14 the "Non-Support of Spouse and Children Act", approved June
15 24, 1915, as amended; (b-5) the Non-Support Punishment Act;
16 and (c) the "Revised Uniform Reciprocal Enforcement of
17 Support Act", approved August 28, 1969, as amended.
