 1        AN ACT in relation to education.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  School  Code  is  amended  by  changing
 5    Section 1B-11 as follows:

 6        (105 ILCS 5/1B-11) (from Ch. 122, par. 1B-11)
 7        Sec.  1B-11.   Balanced Budget.  The local board's budget
 8    for each fiscal year shall be balanced in accordance with  an
 9    accounting  system  and  procedure  to  be  prescribed by the
10    Panel.
