 1        AN ACT in relation to townships.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Township  Code  is  amended  by  changing
 5    Section 1-1 as follows:

 6        (60 ILCS 1/1-1)
 7        Sec.  1-1.  Short  Title.  Short  title.  This Act may be
 8    cited as the Township Code.
