1 AN ACT to amend the Toll Highway Act by adding Section
2 36.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Toll Highway Act is amended by adding
6 Section 36 as follows:
7 (605 ILCS 10/36 new)
8 Sec. 36. Use of tolls for particular segment of toll
9 highway. Revenues generated from tolls and charges collected
10 on an existing segment of a toll highway shall not be used
11 for the constructing or financing of any new segment, unless
12 revenues from any new segments of toll highway pay for 75% of
13 the construction costs of those new segments.
