1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Act on the Aging by changing
2 Section 8.03.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Act on the Aging is amended by
6 changing Section 8.03 as follows:
7 (20 ILCS 105/8.03) (from Ch. 23, par. 6108.03)
8 Sec. 8.03. Coordinating Committee; liaison. The
9 Coordinating Committee of State Agencies Serving Older
10 Persons shall serve as liaison between the several State
11 agencies and departments to facilitate planning and the
12 effective delivery of all programs and services for the
13 aging.
14 The Coordinating Committee shall share its resources with
15 counties and municipalities to assist them in their efforts
16 in providing services for the aging.
