1 AN ACT to amend the Toll Highway Act by adding Sections
2 36 and 37.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Toll Highway Act is amended by adding
6 Sections 36 and 37 as follows:
7 (605 ILCS 10/36 new)
8 Sec. 36. Use of tolls for particular segment of toll
9 highway. Revenues generated from tolls and charges collected
10 on a particular segment of a toll highway must be used for
11 that particular segment.
12 (605 ILCS 10/37 new)
13 Sec. 37. Stations collecting 15 cent tolls abolished.
14 The Authority shall abolish all stations that collect a toll
15 or charge of 15 cents as of January 1, 2000. These stations
16 may not be replaced with stations that collect any toll or
17 charge.
