1 AN ACT to amend the Motor Fuel Sales Act by changing
2 Sections 1 and 2.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Motor Fuel Sales Act is amended by
6 changing Sections 1 and 2 as follows:
7 (815 ILCS 365/1) (from Ch. 121 1/2, par. 1501)
8 Sec. 1. This Act applies shall apply only to those
9 gasoline stations or service stations offering to the public
10 retail sales of motor fuel at both self-service and
11 full-service islands and. This Act shall not apply to those
12 stations with only self-service islands.

15 Sec. 2. Any attendant on duty at a service station
16 described in Section 1 shall, upon request, dispense motor
17 fuel for the driver of a car that which is parked at a
18 self-service island and displays: (a) registration plates
19 issued to a physically disabled person pursuant to Section
20 3-616 of the Illinois Vehicle Code; or (b) registration
21 plates issued to a disabled veteran pursuant to Section 3-609
22 of such Code; or (c) a special decal or device issued
23 pursuant to Section 11-1301.2 of such Code. The attendant;
24 and shall only charge the such driver prices as offered to
25 the general public for motor fuel dispensed at the
26 self-service island. At a station having both self-service
27 and full-service islands, the however, such attendant shall
28 not be required to perform, at the self-service island, other
29 services which are offered at the full-service island.
