1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2549
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2549, by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause and replacing in lieu
4 thereof the following:
5 "ARTICLE 1
6 Section 1. The following named amounts, or so much
7 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
8 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
9 General Revenue Fund to meet the ordinary and contingent
10 expenses of the Office of the Lieutenant Governor:

13 For Employee Retirement Contributions
14 Paid by Employer ............................ 52,920
15 For State Contributions to State
16 Employees' Retirement System ................ 130,340
17 For State Contributions to
18 Social Security ............................. 101,920
19 For Contractual Services ..................... 465,500
20 For Travel ................................... 83,300
21 For Commodities .............................. 24,500
22 For Printing ................................. 30,772

4 For Ordinary and Contingent Expenses of the
5 Rural Affairs Council ....................... 300,860
6 Total $2,678,830
7 The amount of $200,000, or so much thereof as may be
8 necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to
9 the Office of the Lieutenant Governor for the ordinary and
10 contingent expenses of the Illinois River Coordination
11 Council.
12 Section 2. The sum of $110,000, or so much thereof as
13 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Agricultural
14 Premium Fund to the Office of Lieutenant Governor for all
15 costs associated with the Rural Affairs Council including any
16 grants or administration expenses.
17 Section 3. The sum of $75,000, or so much thereof as may
18 be necessary, is appropriated to the Office of the Lieutenant
19 Governor from the Keep Illinois Beautiful Fund for programs
20 approved by the Keep Illinois Beautiful Program Advisory
21 Board.
22 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
23 July 1, 1999.".
