1 AN ACT to amend the Property Tax Code by changing Section
2 12-5.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing
6 Section 12-5 as follows:
7 (35 ILCS 200/12-5)
8 Sec. 12-5. Taxpayer entitled to statement of valuation.
9 The chief county assessment officer, when requested, shall
10 deliver to any person a copy of the description or statement
11 of property assessed in his or her name or in which he or she
12 is interested, and the valuation placed on the property
13 thereon by the assessor, chief county assessment officer,
14 board of review, or board of appeals.
