1 AN ACT to amend the Election Code by changing Section
2 1A-1.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Election Code is amended by changing
6 Section 1A-1 as follows:
7 (10 ILCS 5/1A-1) (from Ch. 46, par. 1A-1)
8 Sec. 1A-1. State Board of Elections established. A
9 State Board of Elections is hereby established that which
10 shall have general supervision over the administration of the
11 registration and election laws throughout the State, and
12 shall perform only those such duties that as are or may
13 hereafter be prescribed by law.
