 1        AN  ACT  to amend the Illinois Housing Development Act by
 2    changing Section 32.

 3        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:

 5        Section  5.   The  Illinois  Housing  Development  Act is
 6    amended by changing Section 32 as follows:

 7        (20 ILCS 3805/32) (from Ch. 67 1/2, par. 332)
 8        Sec. 32.  The  Authority  is  authorized  to  provide  to
 9    nonprofit    corporations,    housing    corporations,    and
10    limited-profit  entities  those  such  advisory, consultative
11    training, and educational services that as will  assist  them
12    to  become  owners  of  housing  constructed or rehabilitated
13    under this Act or to acquire housing or financial  expertise.
14    Advisory  and  education  services  may  include, but are not
15    necessarily limited to, technical and  professional  planning
16    assistance,    the    preparation    and    promulgation   of
17    organizational planning and development outlines and  guides,
18    consultation   services,   training   courses,  seminars  and
19    lectures, the preparation and  dissemination  of  newsletters
20    and  other  printed  materials,  and  the  services  of field
21    representatives. The Authority is also authorized to  provide
22    nonprofit    corporations,    housing    corporations,    and
23    limited-profit    entities   with   advisory,   consultative,
24    technical,  training,  and  educational   services   in   the
25    management  of  housing,  including  but  not limited to home
26    management  and  training  and  advisory  services  for   the
27    residents   of   housing  so  as  to  promote  efficient  and
28    harmonious management of the housing thereof.

30        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  upon
