2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1742 on page 2,
3 line 10, by inserting after "checks," the following:
4 "excluding any charges that may be lawfully withheld relative
5 to these items,"; and
6 on page 2, by replacing lines 15 through 17 with the
7 following:
8 "years from the date of its issuance, unless the owner has
9 within 5 years or".
