1 AN ACT making appropriations to the South Metro
2 Investigators Network.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The sum of $20,000, or so much of that amount
6 as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Criminal Justice
7 Information Authority for a grant to the South Metro
8 Investigators Network for the initial costs of an on-line
9 internet site for area detectives to share crime information
10 with other municipalities.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
12 July 1, 1999.
