91_HB1353enr HB1353 Enrolled LRB9104016NTsb 1 AN ACT to amend the Public Community College Act by 2 changing Section 3-11. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5. The Public Community College Act is amended 6 by changing Section 3-11 as follows: 7 (110 ILCS 805/3-11) (from Ch. 122, par. 103-11) 8 Sec. 3-11. The board of each community college district 9 is a body politic and corporate by the name of "Board of 10 Trustees of Community College District No. ...., County (or 11 Counties) of .... and State of Illinois" or "Board of 12 Trustees of .... (common name of community college), County 13 (or Counties) of ..... and State of Illinois" and by that 14 name may sue and be sued in all courts and places where 15 judicial proceedings are had. The State Board shall issue a 16 number to each community college district, which number shall 17 be incorporated in the name of the board of that district. 18 (Source: P.A. 78-669.)
