1 AN ACT to amend the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois
2 by changing Section 43a and adding Section 43a.14.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
6 amended by changing Section 43a and adding Section 43a.14 as
7 follows:
8 (20 ILCS 1005/43a) (from Ch. 127, par. 43a)
9 Sec. 43a. The Department of Employment Security has the
10 powers enumerated in Sections 43a.01 to 43a.14 43a.12.

13 Sec. 43a.14. To establish a telephone Voice Response
14 System under which claimants may enter a personal
15 identification number and enter information regarding
16 employment searches, money earned, and availability of work,
17 and employers may inquire about tax rates and other
18 information.
