1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1268
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1268 by replacing
3 the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT to amend the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act by
5 changing Section 14."; and
6 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
7 following:
8 "Section 5. The Retailers' Occupation Tax Act is amended
9 by changing Section 14 as follows:
10 (35 ILCS 120/14) (from Ch. 120, par. 453)
11 Sec. 14. Short title; tax. This Act shall be known as the
12 "Retailers' Occupation Tax Act" and the tax herein imposed
13 shall be in addition to all other occupation or privilege
14 taxes imposed by the State of Illinois or by any municipal
15 corporation or political subdivision thereof.
