1 AN ACT to amend the Department of Veterans Affairs Act by
2 changing Section 2.06.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Department of Veterans Affairs Act is
6 amended by changing Section 2.06 as follows:
7 (20 ILCS 2805/2.06) (from Ch. 126 1/2, par. 67.06)
8 Sec. 2.06. Rules. The Department shall make reasonable
9 rules and regulations to govern the admission, maintenance,
10 and discharge of residents of the Illinois Veterans Homes
11 consistent with the spirit and provisions of Sections 2.01
12 through 2.06. Whenever an applicant is admitted, the
13 Department shall notify him or her of those such rules and
14 regulations.
