1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 934
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 934 by replacing
3 the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT regarding support, amending named Acts."; and
5 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
6 following:
7 "Section 5. The Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of
8 Marriage Act is amended by adding Section 505.3 as follows:
9 (750 ILCS 5/505.3 new)
10 Sec. 505.3. Pro se petitions for support and support
11 enforcement. The circuit court may provide, through the
12 office of the clerk of the circuit court, simplified forms
13 and clerical assistance to help with the drafting,
14 preparation, and filing of a petition seeking to establish or
15 enforce a child support order by any person not represented
16 by counsel.
17 Section 10. The Illinois Parentage Act of 1984 is
18 amended by adding Section 7.5 as follows:
19 (750 ILCS 45/7.5 new)

1 Sec. 7.5. Pro se petitions to establish parentage and
2 support. The circuit court may provide, through the office
3 of the clerk of the circuit court, simplified forms and
4 clerical assistance to help with the drafting, preparation,
5 and filing of an action to determine the existence of the
6 father and child relationship, and a petition to establish or
7 enforce a child support order by any person not represented
8 by counsel.".
