91_HB0916enr HB0916 Enrolled LRB9103422MWmb 1 AN ACT concerning cooperative agreements for floodwater 2 management in unincorporated areas of a county. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5. The Intergovernmental Cooperation Act is 6 amended by adding Section 3.8 as follows: 7 (5 ILCS 220/3.8 new) 8 Sec. 3.8. Floodwater management. In counties having 9 3,000,000 or more inhabitants, a municipality may enter into 10 intergovernmental agreements with a township for floodwater 11 management in the unincorporated areas of the county.
