1 AN ACT to amend the School Code by changing Section
2 3-14.28.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing
6 Section 3-14.28 as follows:
7 (105 ILCS 5/3-14.28) (from Ch. 122, par. 3-14.28)
8 Sec. 3-14.28. Remove school board member. To remove any
9 member of a school board from office upon the direction of
10 the State Superintendent of Education pursuant to action of
11 the State Board of Education authorized under Section 2-3.25f
12 and to appoint individuals to fill vacancies thereby created
13 within 30 days.
