1 AN ACT to amend the Comptroller Merit Employment Code by
2 changing Section 18.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Comptroller Merit Employment Code is
6 amended by changing Section 18 as follows:
7 (15 ILCS 410/18) (from Ch. 15, par. 453)
8 Sec. 18. Affirmative Action. The Comptroller shall
9 appoint an Equal Employment Opportunity Officer who shall
10 serve until his or her successor is appointed. The Equal
11 Employment Opportunity Officer may be assigned such other
12 duties at as the Comptroller's discretion Comptroller may
13 direct.
