1 AN ACT to amend the Emergency Telephone System Act by
2 changing Section 9.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Emergency Telephone System Act is amended
6 by changing Section 9 as follows:
7 (50 ILCS 750/9) (from Ch. 134, par. 39)
8 Sec. 9. Consultation. To accomplish the responsibilities
9 specified in this Act, the Commission is directed to consult
10 at regular intervals with the State Fire Marshal, the
11 Department of Public Health, the Department of
12 Transportation, the public utilities in this State providing
13 telephone service, the Department of State Police, and the
14 State Division of Forestry. Such agencies shall provide all
15 necessary assistance and consultation to the Commission to
16 enable it to perform its duties specified in this Act.
