1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Procurement Code by changing
2 Section 50-10.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by
6 changing Section 50-10 as follows:
7 (30 ILCS 500/50-10)
8 Sec. 50-10. Felons; prohibition. Unless otherwise
9 provided, no person or business convicted of a felony shall
10 do business with the State of Illinois or any State agency
11 from the date of conviction until 5 years after the date of
12 completion of the sentence for that felony, unless no person
13 held responsible by a prosecutorial office for the facts upon
14 which the conviction was based continues to have any
15 involvement with the business.
