1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Procurement Code by changing
2 Section 50-50.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by
6 changing Section 50-50 as follows:
7 (30 ILCS 500/50-50)
8 Sec. 50-50. Insider information. It is unlawful for any
9 current or former elected or appointed State official or
10 State employee to knowingly use confidential information
11 available only by virtue of that office or employment for
12 actual or anticipated gain for himself or herself themselves
13 or another person.
