91_HB0516eng HB0516 Engrossed LRB9101303WHdv 1 AN ACT to amend the General Assembly Organization Act by 2 changing Section 3.1. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5. The General Assembly Organization Act is 6 amended by changing Section 3.1 as follows: 7 (25 ILCS 5/3.1) (from Ch. 63, par. 3.1) 8 Sec. 3.1. Whenever any law or resolution requires a 9 report to the General Assembly, that reporting requirement 10 shall be satisfied by: 11 (i) filing one copy of the report with each of the 12 following: the Speaker, the Minority Leader and the 13 Clerk of the House of Representatives and the President, 14 the Minority Leader and the Secretary of the Senate and 15 the Legislative Research Unit; and 16 (ii) submitting a copy to the Legislative 17 Information System in an electronic format specified by 18 the Legislative Information System. 19 Additional copies shall be filed with the State 20 Government Report Distribution Center for the General 21 Assembly as required under paragraph (t) of Section 7 of the 22 State Library Act. 23 When it receives a report under this Section, the 24 Legislative Information System shall place an electronic form 25 of the report on a computer network or system that is 26 available to all members of the General Assembly. 27 (Source: P.A. 83-1257.)
