1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 182
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 182, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment
4 No. 1, on page 10, by replacing line 11 with the following:
5 "changing Section 3-212 and adding Section 3-202.2 as
6 follows:
7 (210 ILCS 45/3-202.2 new)
8 Sec. 3-202.2. Rules; residents with mental illness. No
9 later than January 1, 2001, the Department of Public Health
10 shall file with the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules,
11 pursuant to the Illinois Administrative Procedure Act, a
12 proposed rule, or a proposed amendment to an existing rule,
13 regarding the provision of services, including assessment,
14 care planning, discharge planning, and treatment, by nursing
15 facilities to residents who have a serious mental illness.";
16 and
17 on page 16, line 30 by inserting "discharge planning," after
18 "planning,"; and
19 on page 17, line 2 by changing "January 1, 2001" to "upon
20 becoming law".
