91_HB0164eng HB0164 Engrossed LRB9100266DHpk 1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Act on the Aging by adding 2 Section 4.07. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5. The Illinois Act on the Aging is amended by 6 adding Section 4.07 as follows: 7 (20 ILCS 105/4.07 new) 8 Sec. 4.07. Home-delivered meals. Every citizen of the 9 State of Illinois who qualifies for home-delivered meals 10 under the federal Older Americans Act shall be provided 11 services, subject to appropriation. The Department shall 12 file with the General Assembly and shall provide to the 13 Illinois Council on Aging by January 1 of each year estimates 14 of additional funds needed to permit the full funding of the 15 program and the statewide provision of services in the next 16 fiscal year.
