1 AN ACT to amend the Emergency Telephone System Act by
2 changing Section 9.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Emergency Telephone System Act is amended
6 by changing Section 9 as follows:
7 (50 ILCS 750/9) (from Ch. 134, par. 39)
8 Sec. 9. Consultation with other agencies. To accomplish
9 the responsibilities specified in this Act, the Commission is
10 directed to consult at regular intervals with the State Fire
11 Marshal, the Department of Public Health, the Department of
12 Transportation, the public utilities in this State providing
13 telephone service, the Department of State Police, and the
14 State Division of Forestry. Those Such agencies shall
15 provide all necessary assistance and consultation to the
16 Commission to enable it to perform its duties specified in
17 this Act.
