Short description: CHILDREN-OUT-STATE PLACEMENTS Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Children and Family Services Act. Provides that the Department of Children and Family Services shall report annually to the General Assembly regarding out-of-state placements of children for the preceding year. The report shall include the number of children placed out-of-state, in which states they were placed, the types of services being provided to the children, the cost of the placements, and why services were not provided in Illinois. Amends the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act and the Juvenile Court Act of 1987 to make technical changes concerning their short titles.
