Short description: SCH CD-ST AID-SUPPLEMTY GRANTS Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the State aid formula provisions of the School Code that apply beginning with the 1998-1999 school year. Revises the manner of computing the amount of the supplementary grants in aid (hold-harmless payments) that school districts may receive for the 1998-99 school year, or for that school year and a subsequent school year, by including in the aggregate State aid entitlement that was received by a district under the State aid formula for the base 1997-98 school year amounts that were received by the district as supplemental general State aid (adequacy and low-income eligible pupil) grants for the 1997-98 school year. Effective July 1, 1998.
