$SUPP-OCE-DOT                                                              

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Appropriates an additional $1 to the Department of Transportation      
   for  its  ordinary  and  contingent  expenses  for  FY98.    Effective      
   immediately.                                                                
          STATE DEBT IMPACT NOTE                                               
          HB2339 would not affect the bonding authorization of DOT, and        
          has no direct impact on the level of State indebtedness.             
          FISCAL NOTE (Bureau of Budget)                                       
          HB 2339 does not make substantive changes which increase or de-      
          crease State expenditures or revenues.                               
          BALANCED BUDGET NOTE                                                 
          HB 2339 is affordable due to increased FY98 revenues.
