PENCD-JUDGE-REDUCED-COST CREDT                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Judges Article of the Pension Code.   In  the  Section      
   that  provides  for  transfer of State employee and teacher credits to      
   the Judges Retirement System, provides that  a  judge  who  was  legal      
   adviser to the State Board of Education can transfer up to 11 years of      
   these  credits  at  a  reduced cost and at a reduced rate of interest.      
   Effective immediately.                                                      
          PENSION NOTE                                                         
          Fiscal impact has not been determined, but is exected to be          
          minor.
