DIVORCE-PARENT EDUCATION PRGRM                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Marriage and  Dissolution  of  Marriage  Act.      
   Requires  parties, excluding children, in an action for dissolution of      
   marriage or a post-judgment proceeding involving  minor  children,  to      
   attend an educational program concerning the effects of dissolution of      
   marriage  on  the  children.  Removes provisions allowing the court to      
   determine whether such a  program  should  be  attended  in  the  best      
   interests of the minor children.
