VEH CD-PERIOD LICENSE SUSPEND                                              

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Vehicle  Code  to  provide  that  a  driver's      
   license  or  registration  suspended  because  of a failure to deposit      
   security shall remain  suspended  until  the  person  gives  proof  of      
   financial responsibility.  Effective January 1, 1998.                       
          FISCAL NOTE (Secretary of State)                                     
          HB 1253 would have a minimal fiscal impact on this Dept.
