Short description:
HOUSING-ABANDNED PROPRTY REHAB

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
Amends the Abandoned Housing Rehabilitation Act. Deletes
provision that in order for an organization to petition for temporary
possession of property it has to have been tax delinquent for the
   proceeding 2 years.
          STATE MANDATES FISCAL NOTE
In the opinion of DCCA, HB1234 fails to create a State mandate
          under the State Mandates Act.
          HOME RULE NOTE
HB1234 does not preempt home rule authority.
          FISCAL NOTE (DCCA)
HB 1234 does not involve the activities and does not have a
fiscal impact on units of local government.
          HOUSING AFFORDABILITY NOTE
It is not possible to determine the amounts of increased costs
or increased property values for single-family residences which
could occur through passage of HB-1234.
