Short description: PEN CD-COOK CO-DEPUTY SALARY Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Cook County Article of the Pension Code to provide that pensions calculated under the special formula for deputy sheriffs shall be based on the average salary for the highest 12 months (rather than 4 years) within the last 10 years of service. Amends the State Mandates Act to require implementation without reimbursement. Effective immediately. PENSION NOTE Fiscal impact has not been determined, but is expected to be significant.
