MEDICAID-MANAGED CARE AUDIT                                                

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Medicaid integrated health care program provisions  of      
   the  Public  Aid Code.  Requires the Auditor General to conduct annual      
   performance audits of the program,  beginning  with  the  fiscal  year      
   ending June 30, 1997.  Effective immediately.                               
          FISCAL NOTE (Dpt. Public Aid)                                        
          HB785 has no fiscal impact on the Department.                        
          STATE MANDATES FISCAL NOTE                                           
          In the opinion of DCCA, HB785 fails to meet the definition of a      
          State mandate.
