MEDCAID-MANAGD CARE EVALUATION                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Medicaid Article of  the  Public  Aid  Code.   In  the      
   Section  concerning  the integrated health care program, requires that      
   a managed health care entity ensure that each enrollee is evaluated by      
   a physician within a  reasonable  period  of  time  after  enrollment.      
   Effective immediately.                                                      
          FISCAL NOTE (Dpt. Public Aid)                                        
          HB780 has no fiscal impact on the Department.                        
          STATE MANDATES FISCAL NOTE                                           
          In the opinion of DCCA, HB780 fails to meet the definition of a      
          State mandate.
