House Sponsors: KENNER. Short description: PUB AID-WORK-PAY TRANSPRTATION Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Public Aid Code. Provides that if a public aid recipient is employed other than as a participant in an employment program established or utilized by the Department of Human Services, as successor to the Department of Public Aid in administering employment programs, the Department of Human Services shall reimburse the recipient for a portion of the recipient's costs of transportation to and from his or her place of employment as provided by rule.
