House Sponsors: BOLAND-FANTIN. Short description: VEH CD-COMMUNITY COLLEGE PLATE Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code and the State Finance Act. Amends the Vehicle Code to provide that community colleges are included as one of the institutions for which the Secretary of State may issue special collegiate license plates. Provides that the fees for plates issued for community colleges shall be deposited into the Community College Scholarship License Plate Fund, to be distributed to community colleges for scholarship grant awards, and the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. Amends the State Finance Act to create the Community College Scholarship License Plate Fund.
