NOTIFICATION-FIREARM PURCHASES                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Criminal Code of 1961.   Requires  the  Department  of      
   State  Police to notify the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Bureau of      
   Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms of the name and address of the purchaser      
   or applicant for purchase of a third or subsequent  firearm  within  a      
   48-hour period.                                                             
          FISCAL NOTE (State Police)                                           
          Costs associated with HB500 would be $26,000.
