G 0 BOND ACT-BACALUREAT SVNGS                                              

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the General Obligation Bond Act to increase  authorization      
   by   $659,500,000.    Amends  the  General  Obligation  Bond  Act  and      
   Baccalaureate Savings Act to increase authorization for  the  sale  of      
   college savings bonds by $500,000,000.                                      
          STATE DEBT IMPACT NOTE                                               
          Debt impact summary: increase:                                       
           General Obligation principal                    $659.5 million      
           Potential general obligation debt               $  1.3 billion      
           Annual debt service payments                    $ 51.6 million
