DURKIN. 720 ILCS 5/33E-1 from Ch. 38, par. 33E-1 Amends the Criminal Code of 1961 to make a technical change to a legislative finding provision concerning interference with public contracting. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes reference to: 720 ILCS 5/33E-1 Adds reference to: 725 ILCS 5/116-3 Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963. Prohibits a court from ordering the collection of new or additional evidence for the purpose of conducting or facilitating forensic DNA testing. Limits testing to evidence collected before or at the time of the defendant's trial. Provides that the testing shall be conducted at an American Society of Crime Laboratories Directors Laboratory Accreditation Board accredited laboratory.
